After paying at the front desk for everything I needed (including meals), I got one fizaline and one hard-boiled egg for breakfast for three days. 😂😂😂😂 Anyway, someone didn't follow through and get me into the program. As a result, the kind-hearted staff fed me whatever they could during the day, for which I thank them very much. A lot of Russian speaking and understanding English, so even an interpreter was not really needed, as it turned out.

When you find out that you have cancer, your life and the life of your family are divided into "before" and "after. Yes, it seems that you don't live at all: you just go somewhere for something, do something, say something to someone. And in your head there is a chaos of thoughts and fears and worries. Thank God, we managed to "get acquainted" with Deutsche Medizinische Union at that terrible time. Many thanks to the senior coordinator-physician Michael Tsava who calmly and confidently said that, yes, the situation is not easy, we need serious treatment, but then life goes on. Mikhail assured me that the company will do everything possible for the best and most effective treatment. We received, in my opinion, a complete consultation about the clinics, doctors and the cost of treatment. Michael patiently, competently answered hundreds of our questions and was available almost around the clock. With the help of DMU I underwent two courses of radioiodine therapy at HELIOS Klinikum Berlin-Buch. I am very satisfied both with the conditions of my stay and the attitude of the entire medical staff at the clinic. The treatment fees are transparent and clear: the clinic gives you a detailed invoice with details of how much each treatment costs. At the end of treatment the clinic made a recalculation and we got a part of money back. I had a mitral valve surgery in November 2019 at the Heart Center in Leipzig. The operation was a success. Service was excellent. I was met by car. The interpreter was good. The room is big and comfortable. The doctors are very good. Special thanks to the nurses on duty. I liked it. The amount of the risk was repaid on time. As always, trouble comes suddenly! I started to lose my eyesight suddenly. There was a question how to get to Germany for treatment, how much it will cost, how to get a visa quickly? After some monitoring on the Internet, found phone numbers that offer help, but I was afraid, standing on the stakes were health, and even life, as pressure in the eye could lead to irreparable consequences. We read about the INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER and decided to trust them. The trip to our clinic was quick as we stayed with a friend and the accompanying person and the ambulance was taken very quickly. The manager was in constant contact with us and we were given a very good time. On November 26, I underwent surgery for spinal stenosis at Helios in Krefeld. The choice of DMU and the clinic was not a coincidence: my choice was also determined by the successful operation of an acquaintance. It was also the promptness of DMU, discussions with the coordinating physician, and the absence of advertising that determined my choice. The trip was well-organized: I got an invitation and an interpreter at the clinic who helped me in the most difficult first day. The clinic is very good, friendly staff, highly professional doctors. After the operation the parasthesias and pains that had been bothering me for several years have disappeared. I have been living and walking without pain for about three months now. I am very grateful to my doctors for that. It was not very convenient for me when doctors came to visit me regardless of the time for which they had agreed on an interpreter. But there are no pains, and I am very grateful to all of them, both the DMU and the doctors.
