We came to the clinic because we needed a valve replacement. The logistics and administration department was very professional and helpful with transfers, translations and anything else that needed to be taken care of. The surgery went very well, thank you Dr. Schmidt.

At the beginning of December, we had a detailed chek up in Berlin with the help of the DMU. The initial plan was to undergo all medical procedures in October, but due to the fact that the patients were from Dushanbe (Tajikistan), there were difficulties in obtaining a German visa. As a result, the plan and schedule of medical examinations were changed several times, medical documents and invitations had to be reworked. Thanks to the support of DMU (Maria Shlykova was very grateful) the embassy accepted all the documents and the German visa was issued.In Germany, everything went smoothly, all examinations were held on schedule. We used an interpreter kindly provided by DMU to communicate with German doctors (for a fee).All in all very satisfied!!!

In September 2019 my little girl was operated on at the Helios Clinic in Erfurt.We applied to many clinics in many countries, nobody wanted to operate on our child, arguing that the child has many serious comorbidities. Only Helios clinic in Germany reacted positively. Our daughter was successfully operated on by a team of highly skilled professionals under the guidance and direct participation of Professor Dr. Rüdiger Gerlach. The clinic was of the highest medical level and professionalism.Highest possible standards of comfort and care have been reached at the clinic. Thank you all for your active participation!In spring 2020, we are preparing our daughter for her second surgery at the same clinic, a spinal reconstruction surgery. Of course we are anxious, but at the same time with great confidence.We hope very much that we will pass this difficult second stage with the same confidence.I can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to our future patients.

I had a hip replacement at Helios Huls. The surgery was performed by Prof. Kraft, very professional, the pain was minimal, and the prosthesis was the best in the class. I walked on my legs the same evening, and since the next day I walked on crutches, and in 4-5 days I did without crutches. The doctors are excellent, the care is good, wards and the hospital looks more like a hotel/sanatorium - everything is very comfortable and beautiful. Food is also at a high level, the menu is varied, but as for me, a lot of bread. Rehabilitation was very good, we worked with all muscle groups according to individual programme. The groups are not large, there are individual sessions, which is very comfortable. The only problem was the language barrier, not all of the staff understood English, and there were some misunderstandings. I got fast and good support from Bukimed and DMU.

Through this agency I was able to find a clinic with a high level of service and, most importantly, where they seem to know how to solve our problem. It would have been difficult for me to find the right clinic on my own.The answers to my inquiries were quick and thorough. I would definitely recommend this agency to everyone I know.

I would like to thank all the employees of the Deutsche Medizinische Union for their help and support in arranging my treatment at the Helios Caecilien-Hospital Huels. In August 2019, I underwent two hip replacement surgeries, which went as perfectly as possible, in addition to a two-week rehabilitation course at the same clinic. We flew to Krefeld to do arthroscopy with cartilage repair for a hip joint that had been injured in an accident. Everything is of the highest standard, the staff is polite and courteous. Nutrition in the hospital, of course, is not good for athletes, but in general - they will not let you die of hunger. However, you should take into account that this is Germany (salt, sausage and everything). And yes, there was a hitch when placing in a room as a guest companion. After paying at the front desk for everything I needed (including meals), I got one fizaline and one hard-boiled egg for breakfast for three days. 😂😂😂😂 Anyway, someone didn't follow through and get me into the program. As a result, the kind-hearted staff fed me whatever they could during the day, for which I thank them very much. A lot of Russian speaking and understanding English, so even an interpreter was not really needed, as it turned out.

The DMU specialists looked into the examinations and quickly found a suitable clinic and an experienced neurologist. The clinic where I had my consultations is located in the centre of Berlin. Polite staff, knowledgeable specialists, comfortable stay, everything was there. Thank you, I was very satisfied!
