I had a hip replacement at Helios Huls. The surgery was performed by Prof. Kraft, very professional, the pain was minimal, and the prosthesis was the best in the class. I walked on my legs the same evening, and since the next day I walked on crutches, and in 4-5 days I did without crutches. The doctors are excellent, the care is good, wards and the hospital looks more like a hotel/sanatorium - everything is very comfortable and beautiful. Food is also at a high level, the menu is varied, but as for me, a lot of bread. Rehabilitation was very good, we worked with all muscle groups according to individual programme. The groups are not large, there are individual sessions, which is very comfortable. The only problem was the language barrier, not all of the staff understood English, and there were some misunderstandings. I got fast and good support from Bukimed and DMU.

I would like to thank all the employees of the Deutsche Medizinische Union for their help and support in arranging my treatment at the Helios Caecilien-Hospital Huels. In August 2019, I underwent two hip replacement surgeries, which went as perfectly as possible, in addition to a two-week rehabilitation course at the same clinic. I would like to mention the professionalism, friendliness and responsiveness of all the staff at the hospital. I would also like to thank the surgeon Prof. Dr. Kraft, Dr. Hachenberg and Dr. Sauer, all the nurses and the surgical team. THANK YOU. The orthopedic surgeon was professional to the core, passionate about his work, even a commercial patient was for him primarily a patient, not a source of income. I read the description of the operation, he remembered and implemented the wishes of the patient (I was very afraid of dislocation of the joint after surgery and he put the prosthesis to ensure maximum range of motion). The surgery was very easy (even though I had a fibula), postoperative period, too; the joint feels very familiar to me now. Financially everything was as honest as possible (after the surgery, we recalculated everything and returned 25% of the money paid). Thank you to the doctor, hospital and treatment company for everything.

I would like to share my experience of treatment in Germany. My husband was diagnosed with sigmoid diverticulitis, his intestinal problems started about 15 years ago. Well, in 2018 the question of resection came up. Naturally, if finances allow, it is better to do it in Germany, Israel or Turkey. We had a consultation with doctors from these countries. I think that we would have had the same good result everywhere. In Turkey it would have been cheapest, somewhere around 10000 Euro. Israel has announced the price of 25000, but our Jewish brothers were ready to haggle, up to 22000 for a stay in a double ward. The best option was offered by Germany. The cost of the treatment was 15000 Euro. And while the prices in Israel are the same everywhere, in Germany it all depends on the clinic. We chose Helios Clinic in Leipzig. On the basis of this clinic there is a private department for those who like comfort. It is a 5-star hotel. Professor Bartels operated on us. I stayed in a room with my husband. The environment is perfect. The clinic is perfect and the staff is very good. We were picked up at the airport in Berlin by a Russian-speaking driver and taken to the clinic where an interpreter helped us with the paperwork. We didn't have any language skills, believe me there were no problems at all. To communicate with the staff through an interpreter on the phone. No problems. And in the end - my husband is a healthy person now. I do not believe that one year ago our doctors predicted his life with a stoma (intestine on the belly) in Germany, doctors made laporoscopy, the operation is reminded of only three small punctures.

I was living a healthy lifestyle, doing ""chess"" like a normal person. Time was short, I had to react quickly and correctly. No offense will be taken, but for me it was certainly about finding a clinic in Germany. I had to work with Germans and I could not understand the secret of their success in almost any case. Only later a picture emerged. It is a healthy perfectionism, order in the head and diligence. Such thoroughness, detail, careful tact and confidence, I simply have never heard.In my desperate state I started looking for a clinic in Germany (special thanks to my employer and my friend for the financial and moral support). I compared several clinics and chose DMU and Helios. The main criteria were good reviews, competent representatives and competitive prices. Very important is also a very good experience in the area I am interested in. Helios Krefeld for me turned out to be the best not only in expectation, but also in practice, in all the smallest details.A special thank you to the two lovely girls Julia and Maria. I was amazed at their documentary quickness. Sorry for the office poetry, I just can't find another definition. From the first moment of acquaintance they struck me with the quality and speed of interaction. I just formulated questions and the answers were already in the mail. I am very grateful to them for their psychological support and attentiveness. In September 2019 my little girl was operated on at the Helios Clinic in Erfurt.We applied to many clinics in many countries, nobody wanted to operate on our child, arguing that the child has many serious comorbidities. Only Helios clinic in Germany reacted positively. Our daughter was successfully operated on by a team of highly skilled professionals under the guidance and direct participation of Professor Dr. Rüdiger Gerlach. I would like to thank all the staff in the Cardiac Rhythm Recovery Unit of the Hospital Leipzig for their sensitive and attentive attitude and promptness in solving all problems. On 25 February my husband underwent radiofrequency ablation to restore heart rhythm. He is recovering now and is slowly coming back to an active life. Doctor Sergio Richter who performed the surgery and the head of the clinic Sergey Leontev visited our hospital room after the surgery and explained to us how the surgery was, and what steps to take for further recovery.
