After paying at the front desk for everything I needed (including meals), I got one fizaline and one hard-boiled egg for breakfast for three days. 😂😂😂😂 Anyway, someone didn't follow through and get me into the program. As a result, the kind-hearted staff fed me whatever they could during the day, for which I thank them very much. A lot of Russian speaking and understanding English, so even an interpreter was not really needed, as it turned out.

The operation was much more difficult, longer, but still it is hard to believe - everything was done perfectly! Just jewelry work by a master of his craft and a real generous person!!!Many highly skilled doctors in Russia convinced us that such surgery was impossible; we also applied to other clinics in Germany, Israel, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. All of them suggested to leave the tumour, which was already 2 cm, without any certainty of its benignity, and just to watch. It was difficult to believe in and decide on the surgery at Helios Clinic of Professor Bshorer. That is why we went to see him first and our first visit was very well organized and he was very open, honest and really wanted to help.He is still in touch with us, answering all questions and providing support.

After the tests and examinations he answered the questions that we had missed for a year.We were prescribed medication that should increase fertility. Many thanks to the senior coordinator-physician Michael Tsava who calmly and confidently said that, yes, the situation is not easy, we need serious treatment, but then life goes on. Mikhail assured me that the company will do everything possible for the best and most effective treatment. We received, in my opinion, a complete consultation about the clinics, doctors and the cost of treatment. Michael patiently, competently answered hundreds of our questions and was available almost around the clock. With the help of DMU I underwent two courses of radioiodine therapy at HELIOS Klinikum Berlin-Buch. I am very satisfied both with the conditions of my stay and the attitude of the entire medical staff at the clinic. The treatment fees are transparent and clear: the clinic gives you a detailed invoice with details of how much each treatment costs. At the end of treatment the clinic made a recalculation and we got a part of money back. I would also like to thank Samir, DMU's patient support worker, who was able to quickly and efficiently arrange my second course of radioiodine therapy in difficult circumstances during the coronavirus pandemic. And I would like to express special immense gratitude to the translator Alena Tkach. She is a great human being. Alena is not just an interpreter: she came, worked and left. She treats every patient like a loved one. Even though this job is a huge moral effort, Alyona can always find words of support, and her optimism is a must in these situations. I received the necessary surgical treatment at Helios in LeipzigThe German doctors did what they could not do in Russia and I was able to fly home within a couple of days after the surgery.I was extremely satisfied with the clinic and the doctors and the customer service.They were very clear and very fast.Thank you so much for that.

I had a hip replacement at Helios Huls. The surgery was performed by Prof. Kraft, very professional, the pain was minimal, and the prosthesis was the best in the class. I walked on my legs the same evening, and since the next day I walked on crutches, and in 4-5 days I did without crutches. The doctors are excellent, the care is good, wards and the hospital looks more like a hotel/sanatorium - everything is very comfortable and beautiful. Food is also at a high level, the menu is varied, but as for me, a lot of bread. Rehabilitation was very good, we worked with all muscle groups according to individual programme. The groups are not large, there are individual sessions, which is very comfortable. The only problem was the language barrier, not all of the staff understood English, and there were some misunderstandings. I got fast and good support from Bukimed and DMU.

I was in the Helios Privatkliniken for the removal of a tumour on my kidney. The surgery was performed by Professor Mark Schrader, everything went well, for which I express my gratitude to him and his assistants during the surgery.
